Why You Should Apply Up to $75/hr $65,000 sign-on bonus Up to $27,000 in relocation assistance Full-time, 40-hour schedule Consistent 5x8 schedule Premium Sunday pay Established pharmacy team with approximately 9-12 technicians Alaska has no state individual income tax Relocation Support What You'll Do Fill, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately Counsel patients and answer medication-related questions Manage daily pharmacy workflow and help reduce patient wait times Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Follow controlled substance procedures and documentation requirements Oversee inventory, ordering, and pharmacy records Resolve insurance, reimbursement, and third-party issues Support immunization and other clinical pharmacy programs Help coordinate staff scheduling and pharmacy coverage Build relationships with local healthcare providers Coach and provide feedback to pharmacy team members What You'll Need Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy Active pharmacist license in good standing At least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements Ability to work effectively with pharmacy technicians and other team members Strong patient service and communication skills Ability to maintain required continuing education and clinical certifications If you're an experienced retail pharmacist considering a move to Alaska, this is an opportunity to join an established pharmacy team with substantial financial support available to help with the relocation.
