Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A growing mail order pharmacy in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and flexibility to work varying shifts, including potential Saturdays. Candidates should carefully consider their commute as the site is located in the Scottsdale area.

Contract, with potential for hire

Duration:

13 weeks

Start:

ASAP Shift:

Flexible to work 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, including possible Saturday coverage

Responsibilities:

Check and verify prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency (60-80 checks per hour) Accurately count, dispense, and label medications Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow Maintain a clean, safe pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Arizona pharmacist license required Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Proven accuracy, adaptability, and strong attention to detail Dependability, punctuality, and accountability in work habits Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills Strong verbal and written communication capabilities Positive, friendly demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to follow directions and embrace continuous learning This opportunity offers a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a well-established mail order pharmacy.
