Key Responsibilities Leadership:
Supervise pharmacy staff and optimize daily operational workflows.
Culture:
Cultivate a positive, productive, and patient-focused work environment.
Compliance:
Ensure all activities adhere to federal and state regulations.
Controlled Drugs:
Manage strict compliance for all controlled substance handling.
Compounding:
Oversee sterile (USP <797>) and non-sterile (USP <795>) compounding.
Patient Care:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and counsel patients on medication.
Collaboration:
Partner with physicians to optimize custom patient therapies.
Lab Oversight:
Manage the compounding lab to ensure timely dispensing.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree required.
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Florida Pharmacist license required.
Compounding Experience:
Minimum 2 years of sterile and non-sterile experience.
Management Experience:
Proven background in pharmacy operations or management. Core Skills Expert knowledge of pharmaceuticals, interactions, and advanced compounding. Proficiency with modern pharmacy management software systems. Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and staff development abilities. Excellent communication skills with a premium customer-service focus. We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Manager to oversee all aspects of our pharmacy operations. This full-time, on-site role is for a pharmacist with robust experience in both management and pharmaceutical compounding.
Role and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Supervise all pharmacy staff, optimize workflows, and cultivate a positive and productive work environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all pharmacy activities, including handling controlled drugs, adhere to federal and state laws and regulations.
Compounding Expertise:
Perform and oversee the compounding of sterile (USP <797>) and non-sterile (USP <795>) medications.
Dispensing and Patient Care:
Accurately dispense prescriptions, counsel patients on proper medication use, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient therapy.
Operational Support:
Manage the daily running of the pharmacy, including the compounding lab, to ensure timely and accurate prescription dispensing.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree.
Licensure:
Must hold a current Florida Pharmacist license.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding.
Skills:
Expert knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and compounding procedures. Familiarity with pharmacy management software. Excellent communication skills and customer-service focus.
