Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Retail Staff Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a part-time basis. This position guarantees a minimum of 10 hours per week, with the potential to work up to 30 hours depending on business needs. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care while supporting clinical services such as immunizations and medication therapy management (MTM) through Outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Review, fill, and verify prescriptions through the Pioneer RX Software to ensure appropriate medication therapy. Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, interactions, and storage. Administer immunizations and maintain appropriate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Provide MTM services using Outcomes (OutcomesMTM platform) to optimize patient outcomes and medication use. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, inventory, and documentation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to workflow and quality standards. Support daily pharmacy operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, and customer service.

Requirements:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Florida Active and unrestricted BLS Certification. Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred. Certification and competency in administering immunizations (per state requirements). Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferably well versed with computers and the word and google softwares. Preferably experienced with Pioneer RX Software. Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday and some holidays. The Pharmacy is Closed New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving day, and Christmas Day. Any other holiday's work is expected.
