Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support healthcare operations in Southeast Iowa. This 13-week contract assignment offers a chance to work in a 200-bed hospital setting utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems.

Location:

West Burlington, IA Schedule:

Primarily 2nd shifts, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance and workflow efficiency Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses on therapeutic recommendations Utilize pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize patient medication plans

Qualifications:

Valid pharmacist license; temporary licenses are acceptable for this assignment Experience with hospital pharmacy operations preferred Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system and Pyxis medication dispensing systems Strong communication and consultation skills to effectively work with healthcare teams This contract role offers a rewarding work environment where your expertise can directly contribute to patient care.
