The role is based in Austin, IN, and supports a community-focused healthcare setting utilizing Liberty RX software.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense prescription orders accurately for collection or delivery Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies to maintain operational readiness Control inventory, applying best practices for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances Verify prescription details with healthcare providers when necessary to ensure patient safety Maintain approved drug and controlled substances lists, monitoring expiry dates diligently Monitor product displays, shelves, and overall pharmacy appearance for compliance and customer satisfaction Address customer inquiries, requests, and resolve complaints in a professional manner Keep accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims, supporting regulatory compliance Assist in maintaining the retail pharmacy environment to professional standards Provide telepharmacy support to extend pharmacy services efficiently Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager regarding staff progress and pharmacy needs Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verification required) Immunization license Current resume and skills checklist Professional references Spanish language skills are an asset, enhancing patient communication in this community setting
