Staff Pharmacist - Part-time Whitaker Pharmacy | Mount Sterling, KY Whitaker Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building relationships with patients, working alongside experienced pharmacy professionals, and practicing in a high-volume community pharmacy setting. Position Details Part-time position.

Compensation:

Competitive, based on experience Work alongside another pharmacist, typically the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Supported by experienced technicians and a well-staffed pharmacy team Responsibilities Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications Provide exceptional patient counseling and medication education Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations Administer immunizations Support non-sterile compounding services Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain efficient workflow in a high-volume setting Build strong relationships with patients and local healthcare providers Promote a positive, patient-centered pharmacy experience Qualifications Kentucky Pharmacist License (Required) Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing Strong patient counseling and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume community pharmacy Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service Benefits Competitive hourly pay Collaborative practice environment with another pharmacist on duty Experienced technician support and adequate staffing Opportunity to practice at a respected, family-owned independent pharmacy Free CE opportunities through our PSAO About Whitaker Pharmacy Since 2001, Whitaker Pharmacy has proudly served the Mount Sterling community as a family-owned independent pharmacy. Schedule:

Up to two weekdays and one Saturday per week. The schedule is flexible, and we are willing to work with candidates based on their availability.

Monday-Friday:

9:00 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday 9:00AM-2:00pm Schedule will be determined based on staffing needs.

Pay:

$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
