Community Pharmacies is the largest independently owned pharmacy in Maine , with nine locations that are owned and managed exclusively by pharmacists. We believe excellent patient care and staying current with modern pharmacy practice go hand in hand—and that pharmacists should be able to enjoy their careers while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We are seeking a motivated, personable, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team at our Waldoboro location . Why Community Pharmacies? A better work-life balance. Our pharmacists enjoy a predictable schedule, shorter Saturday hours, and no Sunday shifts . We also value flexibility and are willing to work with the right candidate to develop a schedule that fits both the needs of the pharmacy and the pharmacist. Whether you value consistency, flexibility, or a little of both, we are interested in talking with you. An experienced team. You won't be expected to do it all yourself. Our Waldoboro pharmacy has adequate, experienced technician help and supportive front-end staff who understand the workflow and work together as a team. This allows our pharmacists to focus on what matters most—taking care of patients and practicing pharmacy. Experienced leadership. The Waldoboro pharmacy is managed by its founding Pharmacist-in-Charge, who has been with the location since 2013 . You'll have the stability of an experienced leader who knows the patients, prescribers, community, and pharmacy team. The advantages of a small chain. Community Pharmacies gives you the best of both worlds: the autonomy and personal connection of an independent pharmacy, combined with the support of a nine-location organization. Our locations have the ability to make decisions and innovate locally while having access to support and resources from our other pharmacies and leadership team. Patient care over productivity metrics. We believe pharmacy is about people, not just numbers.
