In this vital role, you will oversee medication dispensing, patient consultations, and pharmacy compliance while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help optimize medication therapy, enhance patient outcomes, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice. •Thursdays 9AM-5PM & Saturdays 9AM - 1PM
•Duties Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and provide medication counseling Manage pharmacy operations including inventory control, verifying prescriptions, take doctor calls and script transfers Lead pharmacy team members, including supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient service Administer immunizations and perform basic life support (BLS) procedures as needed in accordance with healthcare guidelines Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA, ensuring patient information security at all times Utilize pharmacy software systems (PIS) for accurate documentation and medication management Ensure pharmaceutical regulatory compliance by staying updated on drug regulation changes and practicing within scope of practice Experience Proven experience practicing as a licensed pharmacist in a community or chain setting Demonstrated expertise in managing pharmacy teams, LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy experience is a plus Experience with pharmacy operations including inventory management, drug regulation compliance, and pharmacy information systems (PIS) Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred; additional certifications related to immunizations are advantageous Join us in making a meaningful difference through expert pharmaceutical care! Pay:
$56.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 per week
