This 13-week contract position offers a dynamic work environment serving a patient population of up to 25, ideal for pharmacists with a strong background in inpatient care.

Schedule:

Day shifts 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00)

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication plans Apply pharmacokinetic principles to dosage adjustments and patient monitoring Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective multidisciplinary collaboration Ability to work independently and manage various pharmacy operations efficiently This contract role offers the chance to apply your clinical expertise in a critical access hospital with a supportive team and a focused patient load.
