Job Description

Pharmacist in Charge - Brand New Clinic Based Pharmacy within Family Medical Centers Ironton Campus Join the Future of Community Pharmacy What if pharmacy school actually prepared you for the job you're about to have? At IronScripts, we're redefining what it means to be a pharmacist. We partner with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Rural Health Clinics (RHCs), and other healthcare organizations to operate clinic-based, patient-centered pharmacies where pharmacists are an integral part of the healthcare team—not just another person behind the counter. If you're looking to escape the endless metrics, high-volume retail environment, and impersonal workflow, this is your opportunity to practice pharmacy the way it was meant to be practiced. What You'll Love About This Role Work inside medical clinics alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and care coordinators. Build meaningful relationships with patients and providers. Focus on patient outcomes, medication access, adherence, and education—not just prescription counts. Lower-volume pharmacies that allow you time to provide exceptional care. Variety of practice settings as a floating pharmacist across our growing Central Ohio locations. Supportive leadership that values pharmacists as healthcare professionals. What You'll Do Accurately dispense medications while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Counsel patients and provide comprehensive medication education. Collaborate directly with providers to optimize medication therapy. Assist patients in overcoming medication access and affordability barriers. Promote medication adherence and clinical outcomes. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians. Maintain compliance with Ohio Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and company policies. Help create an exceptional patient experience every day.
