Evening shifts may be required 1-2 nights per week, with strong preference for candidates available for 2:30 PM-11:00 PM . Job Description We are seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. This is a critical-need position for a dependable professional who can provide safe, accurate, and patient-focused pharmacy services. Responsibilities Accept, review, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely. Ensure prescribed medications are appropriate and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential medication overuse or drug-related concerns. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files. Counsel patients on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage, storage, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Answer patient questions and provide medication-related guidance. Provide pharmacy services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management. Educate patients on the proper use and handling of medical devices, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters. Compound medications for external or internal use as required. Prepare sterile solutions in accordance with proper procedures. Supervise pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, interns, and other pharmacy staff. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree required. Current pharmacist license issued by the applicable state pharmacy board required. Strong knowledge of prescription and non-prescription medications. Excellent communication and patient counseling skills. Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work onsite and accommodate the required schedule, including the 2:30 PM-11:00 PM shift when needed.
Schedule Monday-Friday Regular hours:
9:30 AM-6:00 PM Evening coverage: 2:30 PM-11:00 PM , approximately 1-2 nights per week as needed Candidates with availability for the 2:30 PM-11:00 PM shift are strongly preferred. #
NONVAX Pay:
$70.00 - $74.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
