Job Description

A nursing home facility serving approximately 50 residents is seeking a skilled Pharmacist for per diem coverage. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential pharmacy services during vacation periods, ensuring continuous, high-quality care for residents.

Location:

Warrenton, VA Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Coverage dates: August 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11

Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to maintain medication safety Utilize PointClickCare computer system for managing prescriptions and records Maintain compliance with facility standards and state regulations

Qualifications:

Active, clear VA Pharmacy license One year or more of recent pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care or nursing home settings Proficiency with PointClickCare or similar pharmacy management systems Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
