Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Northern Wisconsin. This role is ideal for a licensed professional with experience in dispensing and managing prescriptions, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy Maintain accurate records and documentation for controlled substances and pharmacy operations Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies Support inventory management and medication storage procedures to ensure quality and availability

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Wisconsin Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of prescription processing and pharmaceutical care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Wisconsin as required
