Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This role offers an opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to support a small, 40-bed hospital in northern central Wisconsin. The position requires managing a variety of pharmacy responsibilities with a focus on inpatient and outpatient care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM-5:00 PM), with rotating weekends Option for a 7 days on/7 days off day shift schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple concurrent tasks in a central inpatient pharmacy including verifying medication orders through EPIC, checking technician work, and responding to pharmacist consultation calls Dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications, administer inpatient unit dose meds, and prepare outpatient chemotherapy treatments Support diverse inpatient and outpatient departments such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, inpatient and outpatient surgery, and outpatient oncology Maintain accuracy and compliance while handling an inpatient census typically ranging from 30 to 40 patients
Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system preferred Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Competence in chemotherapy preparation and handling of IV admixtures is a plus This contract position is ideal for pharmacists looking to gain hands-on experience in a smaller hospital setting with a flexible schedule option.
