Job Description

WE ARE NOW HIRING A PHARMACY MANAGERS FOR OUR PHARMACIES IN THE BERLIN, MD AREA.

Duties:

Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations
Maintain accurate records of medications, inventory, and patient information
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and potential side effects
Monitor medication therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness
Resolve any issues or concerns related to medication orders or patient care

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
Current state pharmacist license in good standing
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Strong leadership and management skills
