Job Description
WE ARE NOW HIRING A PHARMACY MANAGERS FOR OUR PHARMACIES IN THE BERLIN, MD AREA.
```Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize pharmacy operations
- Maintain accurate records of medications, inventory, and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and potential side effects
- Monitor medication therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness
- Resolve any issues or concerns related to medication orders or patient care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current state pharmacist license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong leadership and management skills
