Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized retail
HIV/AIDS
pharmacy located in Boulder City, NV. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care within a low-volume prescription environment, emphasizing accuracy and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and fill prescriptions with precision, maintaining a high standard of patient safety Perform accurate data entry related to prescription orders Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality, contributing to a reliable pharmacy operation Uphold a positive and professional attitude that enhances team dynamics and patient experience
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Nevada Experience in retail pharmacy settings, ideally with
HIV/AIDS
dispensing expertise—please specify if applicable Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred; please confirm experience with this system Demonstrated commitment to patient care and effective communication skills
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Full-time hours This contract role extends for 13 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and fit. It represents an excellent chance for pharmacy technicians seeking to work in a specialized, patient-centered environment.
