Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established retail pharmacy in Oneonta, NY is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations and support patient-centered care. PM Closed Sundays Key Responsibilities:

Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Maintain compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee pharmacy operations including budget management, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial goals. Lead and train pharmacy staff, ensuring job performance and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Participate in business development activities within the store and the wider community. Deliver patient services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Provide expert counseling on drug use, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient therapy progress. Maintain quality improvement programs focusing on patient safety. Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required training and maintain organized workstations and clean facilities. Complete continuing education as mandated by state law.

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist in New York State (Required) Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines (Required) Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager (Preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills
