Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage pharmacy operations in Burnham, PA. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work environment with variable shift schedules designed to accommodate both day and afternoon hours.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM 11-hour shifts typically from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM 12-hour shifts either 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Variable day/afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative business relationship with store operations and pharmacy teams, driving associate engagement and clearly communicating departmental and company strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. Manage the pharmacy department to maximize profitability and script growth by implementing recommended clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Oversee inventory control by coordinating with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to meet customer demands efficiently. Set and align performance objectives based on key department metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency. Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing customer medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related issues. Ensure department cleanliness and organize ongoing training to improve staff performance, reduce turnover, and manage labor costs. Prioritize and follow through on critical pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
