We are willing to train those with limited experience interested in becoming a valued member of the pharmacy profession. The job functions of the pharmacy technician include, but aren't limited to: Communicate with other pharmacy employees to promote productivity and a positive work environment Carry containers of drugs in and around the pharmacy and repackage them for patient usage Utilize Framework software to scan barcodes to verify the correct medication is selected. Ability to problem solve and possess organizational skills to maintain continuous workflow through the pharmacy. Verify delivery tote contents match the packing slip and are ready for delivery. Replenish and operate the DOSIS automated packaging machine and Pyxis automated dispensing machine. Unit dose medication Assure that the pharmacy appearance, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance meets or exceeds company goals Complete miscellaneous assignments given by the Director of Pharmacy. The pharmacy technician must possess these key skills and attributes: Compassionate Strong communication skills Organized Shows initiative Punctual Time management skills Use critical thinking to troubleshoot problems
