Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A growing mail order pharmacy seeks reliable, certified pharmacy technicians to support prescription processing and shipment preparation at a site located near Scottsdale. This 13-week contract position offers the opportunity for contract to hire based on performance and dependability.
Location:
Fountain Hills, AZ (commute to Scottsdale site required)
Schedule:
Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM No weekend work Responsibilities include: Entering new prescriptions, refills, and patient information with high accuracy, verifying details via the order management system Counting, dispensing, and labeling medications precisely Preparing shipments by printing and affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by courier, and coordinating timely dispatch to meet service level agreements Maintaining a safe, clean pharmacy environment while adhering to Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies and procedures Desired qualifications and attributes: Active Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification Accuracy, adaptability, and strong organizational skills Dependable, punctual, and accountable work ethic Positive attitude and friendly, collaborative communication style Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team Ability to follow instructions and handle multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth This contract role offers a chance to contribute to a busy mail order operation and possibly transition to a permanent position based on your reliability and performance. Candidates must be able to manage the Scottsdale commute and demonstrate flexibility with assigned shifts.
