Entry-Level Bilingual Pharmacy Technician / Front Desk - No Experience RequiredOverview EZRX Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Entry-Level Bilingual Pharmacy Technician / Front Desk Associate to join our team in Hialeah, Florida. No previous pharmacy experience is required. We will train the right candidate. This position will begin primarily at the front desk , assisting patients, answering phones, organizing prescription pickup and delivery requests, and learning the daily workflow of an independent pharmacy. As the employee gains experience and training, additional pharmacy technician responsibilities may be introduced under the supervision of the pharmacist. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, comfortable working with people, willing to learn, and able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish .

In person Duties & ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Service Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner. Assist patients at the pharmacy front desk. Answer incoming telephone calls in English and Spanish. Direct pharmacist-specific questions to the pharmacist. Assist patients with basic prescription pickup information. Notify patients when prescriptions are ready when instructed. Assist with prescription delivery arrangements. Confirm patient contact and delivery information. Communicate professionally with patients, clinics, and pharmacy staff. Take clear and accurate messages. Help organize prescriptions for pickup and delivery. Maintain an organized and professional front desk area. Provide excellent customer service to every patient. Pharmacy Support As training progresses, responsibilities may include: Learning the pharmacy workflow and PioneerRx system. Assisting with prescription intake. Entering patient demographic information. Assisting with refill requests. Organizing prescriptions for pharmacist review. Assisting with prescription delivery coordination. Maintaining accurate patient information. Assisting with inventory and medication restocking. Filing and organizing pharmacy documentation. Communicating with clinics and healthcare offices as directed. Following pharmacist instructions and pharmacy procedures. Protecting confidential patient information at all times. Skills We Are Looking For Fluent English and Spanish. Excellent customer-service skills. Friendly and professional personality. Strong telephone communication skills. Basic computer skills. Experience No pharmacy experience required. Customer-service, receptionist, medical office, retail, call center, or front-desk experience is helpful but not required . We are willing to train a motivated candidate who wants to learn and grow within the pharmacy. Pharmacy Technician Registration Candidates who will perform pharmacy technician duties must meet applicable Florida requirements for pharmacy technician registration before performing duties that require registration.
