Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available in the Richmond, IN area, offering opportunities for skilled professionals to contribute to hospital pharmacy operations. Candidates licensed in Indiana, or those eligible to obtain licensure, are encouraged to apply. Both roles involve essential pharmacy support duties within a hospital setting.

Contract Schedule/Hours:
Position 1: Night shift, 7 days on followed by 7 days off (9:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Position 2: Day/afternoon shift, 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications Restock automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) Respond to calls directed to the pharmacy Deliver medications to hospital floors Identify and pull expired medications for proper disposal Support pharmacy operations to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Current Indiana pharmacy technician license or eligibility to obtain one (Indiana licensure process is straightforward) Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy technician experience Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures Familiarity with Pyxis or similar automated medication dispensing systems Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a healthcare team This opportunity provides a chance to apply your pharmacy technician expertise in a fast-paced hospital environment.
