  • The Opportunity We are looking for a dedicated, certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team full time. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment where you will work closely with our pharmacists and staff to deliver exceptional patient care.   • Responsibilities
  • Assist the pharmacist in accurately processing and dispensing prescription medications
  • Receive and verify incoming prescriptions
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and insurance companies in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories
  • Manage inventory, receive drug orders, and maintain proper stock levels
  • Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with all state and federal regulations
  • Handle point-of-sale transactions
  • Requirements
  • Active CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification required
  • Must be registered with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy or eligible to obtain registration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Prior experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting preferred
