Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician II in support of the Indian Health Service's Fort Peck Service Unit at the Wolf Point, MT and Poplar, MT, locations, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The Pharmacy Technician II would be primarily assigned to Wolf Point, but must be willing to work at the other location as needed. Responsibilities Fill prescription orders Answer and screen telephone calls, and take refill requests. Help put away drug orders. Reconstitute and compound medication orders based on patient care needs and following Service Unit policies and procedures. Fill clinic and ward drug supply orders Maintain inventory of stock and I.V. bulk solutions Prepackage medication into unit-of-dispensing sizes Clinic and ward inspections Dispense medication refills Administer immunizations (certification required) Work in a collaborative fashion with the pharmacy team and providers to ensure timely and accurate pharmaceutical services. Participate in training and competency activities including: Annual safety and infection control, and other mandatory training as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required. 2-4 years of pharmacy technician experience, including clinical support functions. Familiarity with IHS pharmacy systems and federal pharmacy regulations. Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support). State-issued ID/Driver's License must be REAL ID compliant, or must be able to obtain a REAL ID.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required. 2-4 years of pharmacy technician experience, including clinical support functions. Familiarity with IHS pharmacy systems and federal pharmacy regulations. Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
