Overview Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs. Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment. Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations. Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer. Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory. Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness. Available Schedules & Hours M-F 9:00am - 5:30pm M-F 1:30pm-11pm / every 3rd weekend 10:30am-7pm / 2 holidays per year / $1.00 shift diff Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Active state Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to hire) as required by state pharmacy regulations. Demonstrated data entry, keyboarding, and computer navigation skills for billing and inventory systems. Strong attention to detail, precision in measurement, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols. Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with pharmacists, billing personnel, supervisors, and internal delivery teams. Potential for long term based on performance and budget!

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
