Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation and pharmacy operations in a contract role based in Converse, TX. This 13-week assignment involves hands-on work to ensure the accurate and compliant dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescriptions following regulatory guidelines and company policies. Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and supplies, ensuring correct dosages through pharmaceutical calculations. Properly label and package medications for distribution. Identify, document, and report medication-related incidents to maintain patient safety. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work areas and equipment, including laminar flow hoods. Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly, reporting malfunctions or defects promptly. Keep detailed records of pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning activities. Support pharmacy organization and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience. Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification. IV Certification preferred.
