Summary

Description

Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.

Be professional in appearance and demeanor.

Assist the pharmacist with filling prescribed drugs, entering prescription data, operating the register for pharmacy sales, re-ordering medicine and supplies, stocking shelves, and all other duties as assigned.

Validate the NDC number from the stock bottle with the NDC number of the file tag when processing prescriptions, file and sequence new prescriptions documents in proper classification within 48 hours of receipt, receive and check in product order and other suppliers, and collect outdated/overstocked products and prepare returns.

Process invoices, monitor and respond to all correspondence be it electronic or written, and assist in training personnel as dictated by pharmacy management.

Ensure an atmosphere of confidentiality in regards to pharmacy records, customer records and all other aspects of the department, and fully comply with

OBRA 1990.

Assist in various activities as directed by the general operation of the store as needed.
