10/08/2026 Job Description Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Care Technician to support our client's medical facility in San Antonio, TX (78257). This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation!

Specific Duties:

Process prescription orders, refill requests, and medication-related inquiries accurately and efficiently. Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, medication dispensing, and order processing. Verify patient demographics, medication information, insurance coverage, and prescription details. Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies to resolve prescription-related issues. Assist with prior authorizations, insurance claims, coverage questions, and medication benefit verification. Coordinate prescription transfers, refills, medication orders, and deliveries to support timely patient care.

Requirements :

1+ years of experience in

Pharmacy Technician Certification:

National certification required

License:

Active Texas (TX) license required Preferred Qualification Ability to stay focused with little oversight Tied to a phone for 7 hours a day Strong customer service/communication skills Strong computer skills as they will be utilizing multiple computer programs to complete their job duties Must possess both Texas and National tech licenses

Pay Range:
