Mobile Phlebotomy Operations / Coordinator Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | In-Office - Lake Mary, FL

is a nationwide mobile phlebotomy company seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Operations Manager / Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an office-based operations position . You will not be performing patient blood draws. However, previous healthcare and/or phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred because this position works directly with mobile phlebotomists, laboratory testing programs, patient scheduling, specimen collection requirements, and healthcare clients. This position requires daily attendance at our Lake Mary, Florida office . Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a professional demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Position Overview The Phlebotomy Operations / Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the daily scheduling and operational activities of our mobile phlebotomy team. You will work closely with our field phlebotomists, patients, healthcare clients, internal coordinators, and billing department to ensure appointments are scheduled correctly, communication is handled professionally, and jobs progress efficiently from request through completion. As the position develops, responsibilities may expand to include interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and managing new mobile phlebotomists across DIAGGO's nationwide network. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily mobile phlebotomy operations. Schedule mobile phlebotomy appointments and assign jobs to field phlebotomists. Communicate with patients, phlebotomists, laboratories, healthcare offices, and clients. Respond professionally and promptly to emails, phone calls, and internal communications. Monitor scheduled appointments and ensure jobs progress through completion. Coordinate staffing and coverage for multiple geographic areas. Work closely with the billing department to ensure accurate job information and documentation. Provide day-to-day guidance and support to mobile phlebotomists. Answer questions regarding collection requirements, testing procedures, scheduling, and operational policies. Help train phlebotomists on new testing programs and client-specific collection requirements. Provide feedback and coaching to field team members. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal tracking systems. Help identify and resolve scheduling, staffing, patient-service, and operational issues. Conduct interviews for prospective mobile phlebotomists. Assist with onboarding and training new mobile phlebotomists. Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional feedback when required. Ensure company procedures, documentation requirements, and applicable healthcare standards are followed. Collaborate with other departments to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient/client satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills Previous healthcare, laboratory, phlebotomy, medical office, or healthcare operations experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of phlebotomy terminology, venipuncture, specimen collection, and laboratory procedures. Previous scheduling, coordination, management, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage a high volume of appointments, communications, and priorities simultaneously. Strong written communication skills and professional email etiquette. Excellent customer-service skills. Comfortable communicating with patients, healthcare professionals, laboratory representatives, and field phlebotomists. Comfortable learning and working within multiple software platforms. Ability to remain professional and organized in a fast-paced environment. Fluent English and Spanish required.
