Job Description

Phlebotomist III Location:
455 Lee Street SW, Atlanta, GA 30310
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30
PM Interview:
Video conference, 1 round Duration- 3 months Job Summary We are seeking a Phlebotomist to support an inpatient phlebotomy setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing blood draws across pediatric and geriatric patient populations and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform approximately 35-45 blood draws per day. Collect blood specimens from pediatric and geriatric patients. Perform venipuncture while maintaining proper patient identification and specimen-handling procedures. Work in an inpatient phlebotomy environment. Support specimen processing as needed. Communicate professionally with patients, healthcare staff, and team members. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Remain on your feet approximately 75% of the workday. Work independently as well as collaboratively with the team. Complete required initial training of approximately 1-2 weeks. Requirements High school diploma required. 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Experience with pediatric and geriatric blood draws. Strong communication skills. Ability to perform approximately 35-45 draws per day. Ability to work onsite and remain standing for extended periods. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Specimen processing experience is preferred. No specific certification is required.
