Job Description
Entry Level Position. Job locations include offices located in Wabash, IN, Marion, IN, and Fort Wayne, IN. Transporting of specimens required. We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is flexible. You must be able to coordinate all the patients that are due for their labs as well as be organized with the appropriate paperwork and collection. Coordinate and facilitate the collection of urine & oral specimens to be processed at our laboratory Provide instruction to patients on how to provide urine & oral sample. Proper labeling of specimens, completion of requisitions and all other needed information. Prepare specimens and requisition forms, including packaging of the specimens into biohazard bags for shipping. Responsible for ensuring samples are returned to lab in the appropriate amount of time and supporting records/manifests are maintained. Obtain billing information, including copies of patient insurance cards and demographic information. Ensuring the accurate completion of requisitions forms and assisting with all missing information requests when needed.
