Months Schedule:
1st shift 7:30AM to 5PM depending on location coverage could start as early as 7:30Am or work as late as 5PM Floating to all IOP locations, looking for someone with pedi and geri drawing experience. Will be doing specimen processing. Working in team settings. Required Vaccinations T If the resource will be servicing an end client, verify if a negative THC screen is required. YES Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Float Phlebotomist II to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital environment while maintaining exceptional patient care and specimen integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing venipuncture and specimen collection
  • Processing and preparing specimens for testing
  • Managing and coordinating specimen drop-offs for the client
  • Providing excellent patient service while maintaining quality and compliance standards We are seeking candidates with at least two years of phlebotomy experience, as this role requires working independently as the sole phlebotomist at the site.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 months of recent phlebotomy experience in a hospital or high-volume laboratory setting. Overall 2-4 years of healthcare/phlebotomy experience preferred. Proficiency in venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles. Experience processing and handling laboratory specimens. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication and patient care skills. Valid Phlebotomy Certification if required by state regulations.
