Summary:

Labette Health is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Phlebotomist / Lab Assistant to join our laboratory team.

What You'll Do:

Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures on patients of all ages Accurately label and process specimens Prepare samples for in-house testing or send-out to reference labs Assist with specimen tracking and documentation in the EMR Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to infection control standards Provide excellent customer service to patients, nursing units, and clinic staff Support lab operations as needed

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required Phlebotomy certification a plus Previous phlebotomy or clinical experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Calm, compassionate demeanor with patients
