JAG Healthcare Burbank is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team on a PRN or Part-Time basis. This position requires coverage for resident laboratory draws a minimum of three days per week, with flexible scheduling available. There is also potential for additional hours supporting other JAG Healthcare facilities as needed. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures safely and accurately Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and preparation for transport Maintain accurate documentation and collection records Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding laboratory orders and collection needs Follow all infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality guidelines Monitor residents during and after specimen collection and report concerns as appropriate Maintain phlebotomy supplies and notify management of inventory needs Provide professional, compassionate service to residents, families, and team members Travel to additional JAG Healthcare facilities as needed to assist with laboratory collection services Skills & Qualifications Previous phlebotomy experience required Phlebotomy certification preferred (if applicable) Experience working with geriatric, rehabilitation, long-term care, or skilled nursing populations preferred Strong attention to detail and specimen collection accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule Professional demeanor and positive attitude Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to additional facilities as needed Why Join JAG Healthcare?
