Looking for a detail-oriented and reliable specimen collector to join our team at a urinalysis toxicology laboratory! As a specimen collector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely results for our clients while working in a behavioral health setting in the Salem, OR area. Specimen Collector Full time 10:00 am - 6:30pm, Monday-Friday Starting pay $18.00/hour Health Benefits and PTO $500 bonus after 90 probation period

Responsibilities:

• Collect urine specimens from patients using proper techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of specimens
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to laboratory and recovery facility policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and clients
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Abide by HIPAA regulations.

Participate in initial and annual HIPAA compliance training

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in specimen collection preferred
• Professionalism in the workplace
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability
