- Laboratory (BRMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-20 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May prick finger to draw blood. May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration.
Licenses/Certificates:
Certification in phlebotomy preferred; BLS or CPR Required. If not BLS Certified, then certification must be obtained within 30 days of Hire.
