Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with Pediatric Phlebotomy experience to join our Research team. As a Phleb/Medical Assistant, you will be trained as a Clinical Research Coordinator and play a crucial role in providing quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and have a desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives and the future of medicine.
Duties:
- Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, blood draws. Please do not apply if you do not have Pediatric blood draw experience as this is a requirement.
- Perform Standard of Care (SOC) testing for Covid, Flu, RSV, Strep
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, patient follow-up
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service with compassion and empathy
- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Must work well under pressure and have amazing time management skills
- Detail oriented is a MUST!

- Must have strong computer skills and the ability to multi task
