Phlebotomist II - 1st

Shift Location:

VA_AMYP_1945 Old Gallows Road, Vienna, VA 22182

Shift:

Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-4:30 PM Experience 3+ years of phlebotomy experience required. Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collection experience required. Patient Service Center experience preferred. Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Customer service and data-entry experience preferred. Description The Patient Services Representative II provides professional and compassionate patient service while performing accurate blood and specimen collection. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and clinical specimen collection safely and accurately. Prepare, label, and process specimens according to established procedures. Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation. Provide a positive and professional patient experience. Follow safety, quality, confidentiality, and compliance procedures. Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Demonstrate strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Support multiple locations and maintain flexibility based on business needs.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
