Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join a busy outpatient healthcare team in Anacortes, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional with strong phlebotomy skills who enjoys providing exceptional patient care while supporting daily clinical and laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established protocols. Process, label, and prepare laboratory specimens for transport. Manifest and track laboratory samples accurately. Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs). Conduct Point-of-Care (POC) testing. Maintain accurate patient documentation and test records. Order, organize, and replenish clinical and laboratory supplies. Prepare exam and lab areas to ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care. Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures. Provide compassionate, professional care while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient daily operations. Perform additional clinical duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Current MA-P (Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist) License (Washington State). Strong phlebotomy skills and experience performing venipuncture. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional reliability and attendance. Strong patient care and customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
