Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' success as an onsite Physical Therapist for a full school year near Sacramento, CA. This contract, full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) starts ASAP and is ideal for skilled PTs seeking to create a more accessible and enriching school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy license in California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of IEP process and relevant documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt interventions based on individualized student needs Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented approach

Your Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to assess developmental, neuromuscular, and physical functioning within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support participation and access throughout the school day Collaborate with special education and general classroom staff to support inclusive education Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and contribute to IEP development Provide training, education, and consultation to staff and families on safe mobility, accessibility, and adaptive equipment Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to help students achieve their educational goals Perks for
