9668059-32145 Job Description A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist eager to make an impact in a dynamic school setting. This role will serve a focused caseload of 15-20 students, delivering essential therapy services across several schools in the southern region of St. Johns County. The position is part-time at 1.5 days per week, with each day consisting of 8 hours, and extends through December 18, 2026. Perfect for professionals in or near Palm Coast, Daytona, Flagler, Palatka, or southern St. Augustine.

Key Requirements:

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Florida Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Ability to work independentlyno supervision available, as there are no PTAs on site Solid communication skills with students, staff, and families Reliable transportation to travel between sites within the southern part of the county Must be available for an ASAP start and commit through contract's end date

Primary Duties:

Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to a diverse student group Complete timely evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation as required by the district Collaborate with educational staff to develop and support student goals Travel between assigned schools as needed to meet student needs Maintain regular communication with parents and provide updates on student progress This position offers flexibility for part-time professionals, valuable school-based experience, and the chance to contribute to student success over several academic years.
