Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and a thirst for continued knowledge and growth.

Assess patients to develop and initiate individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient needs, and goalsProvide direct patient care using established protocols, evidence-based interventions, and patient care guidelinesDocument evaluation findings, treatment progress, and instructions provided to patients and caregivers accurately and timelyProvide appropriate oversight of patient care performed by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation techniciansComplete a written plan of care, establish measurable goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive treatment program to achieve those goalsImplement individualized physical therapy treatment programs to improve mobility, function, strength, and overall independenceCommunicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and professional colleagues, including physicians, nursing staff, case management, and insurance providers, to coordinate care and support optimal patient outcomesComplete required documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, and discharge recommendations, to support continuity of careQualificationsGraduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy programCurrent state of Georgia Physical Therapy license, CPR certificationExercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skillsOutgoing and energetic personalityNew graduates are welcome!
