Wellstar Health System is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for Inpatient Rehab. In this role, you will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses to restore function, mobility, and independence. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and documenting in the EMR. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members, educate patients and families, and support safe discharges, all within a compassionate, patient-centered, and innovative care environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for inpatient rehab patients Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, and functional mobility training Document assessments, goals, and progress accurately in the EMRCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members on care plans Educate patients and families on rehab goals, safety, and home programs Contribute to safe discharge planning and recommendations for continued care Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and professional PT standards Required Skills Physical therapy evaluation Inpatient rehabilitation Treatment planning Therapeutic exercise Neuromuscular re-education Gait and balance training Functional mobility training EMR documentation Interdisciplinary collaboration Patient and family education
