Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy required Active state physical therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience or demonstrated passion for working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations Strong communication and organizational abilities Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development Enthusiasm for collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and support students with diverse physical needs in compliant, creative, and compassionate ways Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster improved mobility, independence, and participation in school activities Consult with teachers, caregivers, and school teams to recommend adaptive strategies and ensure student success Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing professional expertise and advocating for each childs needs Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
