Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist (PT) — Part-Time Pelvic Core Rehabilitation, PLLC Plymouth, MI Job Details Part-time $45 - $50 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Physical Therapy Evidence-based practice Physical Therapy License Patient interaction Full Job Description Pelvic Core Rehabilitation, PLLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our growing specialty practice in Plymouth, Michigan on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist who enjoys individualized care, clinical problem-solving, and developing expertise in pelvic health. Our therapists provide 60-minute, one-on-one visits with no double-booking in a supportive specialty practice environment. Our caseload includes both women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, constipation, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, pelvic organ prolapse, core dysfunction, and pre- and post-prostatectomy rehabilitation. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with pelvic health conditions. Develop individualized, evidence-informed plans of care based on each patient's functional goals and clinical presentation. Provide pelvic floor neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional training, bladder and bowel retraining, breathing and pressure-management strategies, and patient education. Utilize manual therapy and pelvic floor downtraining or strengthening strategies as clinically appropriate. Incorporate pelvic floor EMG biofeedback and neuromuscular retraining when indicated. Educate patients regarding pelvic floor function, home exercise programs, bladder and bowel habits, pressure management, and return to activity. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on response to treatment. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Communicate and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Qualifications Active or eligible Michigan Physical Therapist license . Interest or experience in pelvic health physical therapy. Pelvic health continuing education completed or actively being pursued. Strong communication, patient-education, and clinical reasoning skills. Ability to provide individualized, patient-centered care and work independently within a specialty practice. Pelvic floor experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate with appropriate training and a strong interest in developing expertise in pelvic rehabilitation. Experience with pelvic floor EMG/biofeedback or BCIA training/certification is a plus. Schedule & Compensation Part-time position with flexible scheduling. Opportunity to increase hours as the caseload grows. $45-$50 per patient-care hour , commensurate with pelvic health experience, specialty training, and biofeedback/BCIA credentials.
