School-Based Physical Therapist - Three Rivers, MI

Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Physical Therapist supporting multiple school locations near Three Rivers, MI! This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential services to students across several dynamic educational communities, including Climax-Scotts, Comstock, Parchment, Gull Lake, and Galesburg-Augusta. You'll play a key role in helping students reach their highest potential through comprehensive physical therapy interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in Michigan Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, but not required Ability to travel between assigned school locations within the area Strong organization skills for maintaining service notes and conducting evaluations Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for students with diverse needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting educational goals Deliver direct services and interventions within school settings Document all services provided and maintain accurate, timely service notes Collaborate with other school professionals, such as special education teachers and administrators, to ensure holistic student support Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the planning of student care as needed
