02-11-2026 SUMMARY Responsible for providing quality resident care through assessing, interpreting, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
  • Visible commitment to the CES mission, vision, and values; emphasizing and modelling the need for collaboration and teamwork.
  • Assesses resident conditions, establishes goals and treatments in conjunction with the resident and develops appropriate treatment plans. Verifies required authorizations have been obtained prior to initial evaluation or treatment session
  • Documents findings, treatments and other resident information in medical records.
  • Codes procedures and therapy diagnoses timely and accurately.
  • Demonstrates competency in the operation and navigation of the EMR software
  • Properly operates therapeutic equipment and devices including exercise equipment, modality machines, manual therapy tools, etc.
  • Ensures that appropriate treatment is performed in interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians and other healthcare practitioners regarding resident health status
  • Provides resident education on care issues and use of various therapies
  • Serves as information and education resource for residents, families, physicians and staff
  • Demonstrates current competency applicable to the therapeutic role
