Job Description

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care within an acute hospital setting. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting patients through their therapy journey and contributing positively to patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Nebraska Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required A minimum of 1 year of relevant, recent experience post-graduation (applications with at least 6 months of solid experience post-graduation will also be considered) Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Commitment to ethical and patient-centered therapy care Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for patients in the hospital setting Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and supporting rehabilitation goals Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards Communicate regularly with interdisciplinary team members, supporting a collaborative approach to patient care Provide patient and family education to maximize treatment effectiveness and aid in recovery Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and professional standards
